I want to thank you for taking the time to visit our web page.

 

We serve the maritime community in the Tri-State region of Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virgina. Our Division is made up of five "Flotillas" currently. These units are "where the action is" and are located in Charleston, WV, Huntington, WV, Marietta, OH, Gallipolis, OH, and South Point, OH.

 

We conduct operations such as multi-mission patrols, search and rescue, pollution missions, Aids to Navigation verification, and much more on the Ohio, Guyandotte, Big Sandy, and Kanawha Rivers.

 

Our land based activities include public education courses such as basic and advanced boating. seamanship, navigation, GPS, RADAR, and more! We also provide vessel safety checks in various locations around the region, free to the public. We also participate in area boat and RV shows, and local river related celebrations!

 

Additionally, we assist the local Coast Guard unit, MSU Huntington, in many of theri missions and cooperate with state Department of Boating, Natural Resources, and Watercraft enforcement offices as well as the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to promote recreational boating safety programs.
